The New 2025 GMC Terrain Redesign, Update.
The 2025 GMC Terrain continues its voyage with slight changes. In case you didn’t know, the manufacturer is working on the next generation vehicle, which is expected to come in 2025MY. This is an extremely reliable SUV that has been around since 2009.
The compact SUV is an excellent choice since it is a practical vehicle with a high level of comfort, a smooth ride, solid safety ratings, and above-average fuel efficiency. The changes will be minor, but GMC should make a few tweaks, both inside and out. Without further ado, here’s everything you should know.
GMC Terrain Interior Features:
We don’t expect many modifications this year, considering it is likely to be the generation’s final production year. As a result, basic versions should include a 7-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and other standard features. Wi-Fi, a superior sound system, and many other features are available as options.
The options include an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless device charging, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and a sunroof. In general, the GMC Terrain is a well-equipped vehicle with a comfortable and spacious interior. Furthermore, this model includes numerous driver-assistance features, resulting in high safety ratings. Still, we predict only a few small upgrades.
Exterior Facelift
Visually, the 2025 GMC Terrain will resemble the outgoing model. This isn’t a terrible thing because the SUV appears quite modern and erect. However, the new-generation Terrain is in the works, and this edition will include a few minor changes. The E2 architecture remains, hence the vehicle’s dimensions will remain the same.
The front design takes a more aggressive approach, with distinctive headlamps and a recognisable grille. Even the rear part is easily identifiable, with characteristic taillights. A new edition could include a few fresh exterior paints and possibly new extra packages. Aside from that, Terrain will not receive cosmetic updates.
Engine Specifications, Gearbox
The engine from the 2025 GMC Terrain will also continue. It is a well-known and dependable 1.5-liter turbo-four gasoline engine. This unit recently had an extra power boost, and it now produces approximately 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. Despite its small size, the Terrain SUV performs admirably. The idea is to enhance fuel economy. Right currently, this model gets 24 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

An optional 2.0-liter turbo-four engine produces 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. GMC will continue to offer a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Terrain SUV has a towing capability of around 1,500 pounds, with a maximum towing capacity of approximately 3,500 pounds. As before, the FWD system will be standard, with AWD as an option.
2025 GMC Terrain Price and Release Date
The 2025 GMC Terrain will cost around $30,000, or somewhat less. The modifications are small, therefore the price should remain unchanged. Sales will begin later in 2023, with the next-generation Terrain hitting the roads next summer.
